If someone in your course violates the Cogniterra community rules, you can ban a user account, so the banned can no longer leave comments in your course. When you ban a user, you can choose a period and enter an explanation for the ban.
How to ban a user?
To add a user to the “Blacklist”, you must:
- press the “three dots” symbol next to the comment, this will open the comment settings menu
- in this menu click the “Block” button and specify the period and reason for blocking
How to unban a user?
To remove a user from the “Blacklist”, you must:
- press “three dots” symbol next to the comment, this will open the comment settings menu
- in this menu click "Unblock"
To view the users added to the Blacklist, go to Course Settings → Access control → Blacklist.
All blocked users are displayed in the “Blacklist” section.
Click on the “three dots" in the line of the user, then click “Unblock".
You can also change the period and reason for blocking the user by clicking the "Edit details" button.
